Xiaomi has launched Mi Max in India and is available on all leading online retail stores amazon, flipkart and snapdeal. The Mi Max comes with 6.44 inch (16.357 centimeters) IPS capacitive touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 342 ppi pixel density. The screen is 2.5D Glass Display and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has full metal body and runs on MiUi7 on top of Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with 1.8GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Cortex A72 A53 hexa core processor and Adreno 510 GPU. The update of MIUI 8 will soon be available on this phone. It comes with 2 variants with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Memory and the second variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB Internal Memory. The 3GB + 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 14,999 and 4GB + 128GB is priced at Rs. 19,999.
Mi Max features 16MP primary camera with 5p lens, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF auto focus, two tone flash, HDR, 120fps slow motion capture and 5MP front facing camera with F2.0 Aperture and 85 Degree Wide Angle view.
Mi Max is a dual sim phone and both SIM slots are 4G capable and support VoLTE for higher quality voice calls. It works on operating frequency of GSM – 850, 900, 1800, 1900; WCDMA – 850, 900, 1900, 2100; 4G LTE (TDD) – Band 38/39/40/41, LTE (FDD) – Band 1/3/5/7/8. This comes with hybrid sim where one sim slot can either accept sim or SD card. You can expand the memory up to 128 GB.
