Samsung to launch Foldable Smartphone in Q3 2017

Samsung the South Korean company which is known not only for its Smartphones whether other Electrical Goods like Refrigerator, AC’s, LED’s etc. The company is in planning to launch its first foldable smartphone as early as Q3 this year.

The has not made its final decision for launching the smartphone due to some market issues. The company will take its final decision after personnel reshuffling of the Information Technology and Mobile Communication unit.

 

Samsung had completed the development of these foldable smartphones, which tuck the screen inside on being folded, in August last Year and therefore it is not big deal for company to shift it into fold-out phones category.

Interestingly, LG is also planning to produce approx. 1,00,000 units of its foldable devices in Q4 this year. The company had started the development of these smartphones 2-3 years ago.

As per the reports. The company is said to be working on ‘dual-screen’ smartphones in which there are screen s on both sides and other one with single flexible OLED display.
