Xiaomi has launched Redmi 3S (2GB + 16GB) and Redmi 3S Prime (3GB + 32GB / Fingerprint sensor) in India. The Redmi 3S and 3s Prime features a premium metal body. They are available in Dark Grey, Silver and Gold Color. Both these phone runs on Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) Operating System with 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64-bit Octa Core Processor and Adreno 505 GPU. Redmi 3S has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expandable up to 128GB. On the other hand Redmi 3S Prime has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which can be expandable up to 128GB. The Price of Redmi 3S (2GB + 16GB) is Rs. 6,999 and and Redmi 3S Prime (3GB + 32GB / Fingerprint sensor) is Rs. 8,999. Both these phones will be available through Flipkart.
Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime comes with 5 inch HD IPS Display with 1280 x 720 Pixels resolution and 294 PPI pixel density. Currently both the phones will have MIUI 7 but will soon receive updates of MIUI 8. The dimension of both the phones is 69.6×139.3×8.5 mm and they weighs around 144 grams. They have Li-Ion Polymer, 4100 mAh non removable battery. Both phones supprots Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, eCompass, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, additionally Remi 3s Prime comes with Fingerprint Scanner which is not present in 3s. One sim card accepts micro sim and other slot is hybrid slot that accepts either Nano sim or MicroSD card.
